- Schedule: Typically Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.; occasional weekends, holidays, or adjusted hours as needed
- Pay: Starting at $22.50 per hour
Are you ready to take the next step in your park maintenance career and help lead the team that keeps our parks safe, clean, and welcoming? The Warren County Park District is seeking an experienced and motivated team member to serve as Park Maintenance Team Lead. This opportunity is open to current Park District employees only.
The Park Maintenance Team Lead is a working leader who performs advanced park maintenance duties while coordinating and guiding other maintenance staff. This role supports the overall upkeep of park grounds, facilities, trails, and amenities, and helps ensure a high level of safety and service for park visitors. Responsibilities include landscaping and turf care, trail and facility maintenance and repair, equipment operation and maintenance, chemical applications, and roadway and walkway upkeep. In addition, the Team Lead helps direct daily work activities, provides input on performance, coordinates with staff involved in reservations and events, monitors safety conditions, and supports special events and volunteer efforts.
The Team Lead sets the tone for professionalism, teamwork, and customer service, serves as a resource for other staff, and helps ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with Park District policies.
